Root-sum-of-squares combination of multiple magnitude images.
Every echo must hold the same number of voxels. The combined volume inherits that size and is then indexed by the run’s grid downstream (bias correction, masking), so an echo of a different matrix size would otherwise either be silently truncated or make the result the wrong size for every later stage.
§Errors
If the echoes do not all have the same length. No echoes gives an empty volume.
