The spatial shape (z, y, x) of the tensor HD-BET’s network sees on a scan on grid: with
HdBetInference::FullVolume, the field of view resampled to 1 mm and padded to multiples of
16×32×32; with a sliding window, its patch.
HD-BET crops to the bounding box of the non-zero voxels before resampling. This takes that box to be the whole field of view, as it is for any scan with noise in the background, so on an image whose background was zeroed it is an upper bound.
