Estimate the motion across a complex series and put every volume onto the reference grid.

The whole of Tier A in one call, for a series that shares a grid: register on magnitude, resample the magnitude/phase pair through the complex domain, and carry each volume’s B0 direction along with it.

mask is optional and lives on the reference volume’s grid; see estimate_motion for what it buys and for the None cases.
