pub enum InversionInput {
LocalField,
TotalField,
WrappedPhase,
}Expand description
What a dipole inversion reconstructs from, and so which earlier stages a host has to run.
Reported by InversionConfig::input, the one place this is decided. A host should route
from it rather than keep its own lists of methods that skip background removal.
The pipeline’s own background-removal methods (BgRemovalAlgorithm) all take the total
field in ppm and produce a local field, and so does iQFM (run_iqfm) from
wrapped phase. Each of them is therefore only useful in front of a
InversionInput::LocalField inversion: with the others it would have no effect.
Variants§
LocalField
The background-removed local field in ppm: field mapping, then background removal,
then run_dipole_inversion with the eroded mask the
background removal returned.
TotalField
The total field in ppm, straight from field mapping with no background removal, and the brain mask. The method removes or models the background itself.
WrappedPhase
The per-echo wrapped phase (and magnitude): no field mapping and no background removal.
Implementations§
Source§impl InversionInput
impl InversionInput
Sourcepub fn needs_bg_removal(&self) -> bool
pub fn needs_bg_removal(&self) -> bool
Whether a background-removal stage (or iQFM) belongs in front of the inversion.
Sourcepub fn needs_field_mapping(&self) -> bool
pub fn needs_field_mapping(&self) -> bool
Whether the echoes have to be field-mapped (unwrapped and combined) first.
