pub enum Strength {
Reference,
Discouraged,
Recommended,
Required,
}Expand description
How strongly a rule applies. Ordered Reference < Discouraged < Recommended < Required, so
max is the finding that takes precedence on a setting (see the module docs, Strength).
Variants§
Reference
The original authors’ setting: what the method’s reference pipeline does or instructs,
where nobody has said why it is needed or better (Kind::Reference). Never preselected.
Discouraged
A combination known to fail (measured, or stated by the authors with the reason).
Recommended
Better for a stated reason: the authors say why (paper, README or code comment), or QSM.rs measured a benefit and recorded it in the method’s docs.
Required
The method cannot run correctly otherwise.
